DeLightful Being full of light carries the torch for others to follow. How to DeLight inspired me to put together these very special gift box collections. People love to be surprised and receiving a box of quality treats that pamper whilst building relationship and health are irresistible. I started with my partner, putting little Delights in my purse to surprise him and seeing his genuine delight made me want to share with others. So yes we have some sexy boxes with massage candles, toys and chocolates but we also have things for new moms, dads, babies, promotions, sisters, and friends.
The Silk Road I thought the silk road would be a great place to lead us to finding the treasures for these magical boxes of experience. Throughout history fortunes and lives were risked to bring back the bounty of mother earths intelligence from exotic places. These teas, spices, scents and silks were revered treasures, they were given to lovers, wives, royality and gods. All the worlds trade routes were developed in the search and transport of these treasures. The heavenly feelings of the silk roads exotic treasures have kept the flame of our hearts going for centuries.
The natural "aphrodisiacs" of tea, spice and scent move energy in the body towards health, happiness and love. We have combined these precious ingredients with the poetry and passion they deserve. These are the gifts from the mother earth. An expression of her majesty and intelligence. They are to be received with honor and gratitude. They ennoble all of us. The exotic and erotic delights of these ancient trade routes were brought back home for the sacred ceremonies of love, they bound countries, and kingdoms and brought the world together as one. About our Founder
Daisy Carlson, originally a photographer and filmmaker, is better known as the designer and CEO for Daisy Arts Inc., founded in 1991, when she designed a line for a cooperative of handicapped adults in Italy, that she was filming. Once struggling to maintain their autonomy they now have a thriving business.
Her popular designs gained international notoriety and are sold worldwide. Daisy has designed product for museums, department stores and several international brands and charities.
In 2005 she founded Charming The World, which develops product and books as both marketing aids and product to support development projects and education worldwide. Incorporating her love for photography and academic research in product design she is back behind the lens where her first career started, reporting on and consulting with aid projects around the world and studying climate, energy and sustainablity at Stanford.
With 16 years experience in product design, marketing and international business management she is a prime advocate and consultant for small business development. Her interest in Africa and finding effective solutions for a sustainable future without hunger, leads her way. She is currently designing consumer carbon offset solutions that can reduce carbon footprints of everyday life. Pooling corporate and consumer contributions to fund habitat restoration, food and water security in developing countries.
Daisy, has published seven books in 2008 on aid projects which raise awareness in the retail market place and much needed funds for the children of these programs.
Carlson, specializes in brand identity, marketing and product design that fulfills environmental and human rights requirements profitably for NGO's. Developing social enterprise solutions to capitalization is fundamental to ending hunger in our lifetime. Carlson is a successful entrepreneur, who has also created measurable profits for human rights and the environment. She believes profit is equal parts currency, sustainable development and education. Her products are timeless and restorative, not just sustainable.
